Prior to joining Regent in 2020, he was Academic Dean and Lecturer in Old Testament at Westminster Theological Centre, UK, where he served for seven years. He is also a co-founder and host at the OnScript podcast. Matthew is particularly interested in helping students wrestle through the challenges of identifying the God portrayed in the Old Testament with the God revealed in Christ. He is currently working on a book that helps Christians wrestle with the violence of Scripture and continues research in Isaiah and the book of Chronicles.
