Dean Price was born and raised in southern California. After receiving a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in American History, he became a teacher in a private school in St. Louis, where he met his wife, Kate. He then entered a Ph.D. program in History at Yale University before he met the Risen Jesus and heard a call to ministry. After completing his M.Div. at Yale, he has served on the staff of churches in St. Louis and Dallas and was called to be the Rector of St. Dunstan’s, Houston in 2005. After 13 years of blessed ministry there, he accepted the Bishop and Vestry’s invitation to begin a new chapter as Dean at St. Matthew’s. Along the way, he and Kate have had three boys: Matt, Thomas, and Chris. Fr. Rob is passionate about preaching and teaching on the Scriptures and leading a community in which a vibrant life in Jesus Messiah leads us all into God’s work of New Creation.
