Growing up I always considered myself a Christian without fully realizing what that meant. During my first year of college I was blessed to have a number of close friends who each had a strong faith and they helped me discover a much deeper understanding of the faith but more importantly, they helped me to develop a closer relationship with God. It wasn’t long before I decided that I needed to engage in a faith community and, after some research, I began to attend a local Episcopal parish in my area. I was very fortunate to have found a community where I was taught a great deal about Christian faith and practice and I became more and more involved with the life of the parish. After about five years, I felt a strong call to begin the discernment process to seek Holy Orders. I am very thankful that I am now at Nashotah House because I feel that this seminary is best suited to train individuals for ministry in a manner that is conducive to both academic and practical priestly formation. If you are so inclined, your support of my seminary education will help to offset the expenses of tuition, books, housing, and travel. In so doing, you would not only be actively supporting my future ministry but also assisting in the building up of God’s Kingdom.
