Don't Just Be Informed

There’s much more to education and discipleship than the life of the mind. Be formed for ministry in a community that learns the imitation of Christ through loving and serving each other. A Nashotah House education forms your character and your intellect for the scope of Christian ministry in the church of today, while giving you the tools to faithfully serve the world of tomorrow.

The Nashotah House MDiv is different: instead of focusing on the trending topics of today, you are formed to think theologically, preparing you to take seriously your vocation to lead the Church and pass on the faith once delivered to the saints. You’ll learn to respond faithfully and to equip those in your care to do the same, whether your mission field is across the world or across the street. Join a community of faculty and students gathered to be sent out for the hands-on work of ministry.

That’s Real Presence. That’s Real Preparation.

You’ll live on our historic, family-friendly campus overlooking Upper Nashotah Lake. Unique to our setting, the Nashotah House MDiv is an opportunity to come away from the world for the sake of the world. Embrace a life of disciplined daily worship and Scripture reading, study the great thinkers of church history and theology in their own words, and learn to imitate our Lord in serving others, all in the context of a vibrant community that offers countless opportunities for fellowship and deep, lasting friendships.

You’ll be trained to communicate the rich liturgical tradition stemming from the Oxford Movement of Anglicanism, not so that you can go out and merely copy what you’ve learned here, but so that you are equipped with a wide array of tools to respond to the needs of the local church.

The 90-credit MDiv is a residential program normally completed in three years (Fall Term, January Term, Spring Term). Summers are opportunities for ministry internships and certified Clinical Pastoral Education modules, and MDiv students begin formal field education assignments in area parishes beginning in your second year.
